A blog about Shortwave Radio in all its forms but mainly Listening. My current setup is a Yaesu FRG-7 with a 15m long wire antenna. For portable and bedside use i have a Tecsun PL-600.  I am a member of the International Shortwave League (ISWL) and also hold the UK Amateur Radio call sign M5RFD. I prefer the ISWL as they are the only group that caters for both Amateur and Shortwave Broadcast Listeners. They issue a monthly magazine (either paper or e-magazine) which is choc-full of interesting articles, listeners logs and a whole lot more. I am also a member of the G-QRP club. Their quarterly publication is packed full of home brew receivers, transmitters and accessories, plus all manor of information.

I am located in Lincoln in the East of England.

My current listening post. ATU+Datong FL1 filter+FRG-7
